Advisory Committee

  • Background

    • An Advisory Committee (the Committee) has been set up with a view to advising the GCMTI on strategies, measures and specific proposals conducive to the continuous development of the GCMTI. The Committee is the advisory body to the GCMTI and is composed of members from the Government, Chinese medicines industry, academia and International Advisory Board of Hong Kong Chinese Materia Medica Standards.

  • Terms of Reference

    The Committee is to:
    • advise on the development strategy and priority areas of the GCMTI in order to bring the Chinese medicines industry of Hong Kong towards internationalisation;
    • foster GCMTI’s collaboration with local, regional and international research partners to promote the use of Chinese medicines reference standards and testing methods; and
    • set up Task Force(s) and/or Technical Support Group(s) on a need basis for focused discussion or consultation on specific topics.

  • Membership of the Advisory Committee of the GCMTI
