- The Department of Health made a public announcement last week (Oct 7) about a product named Cardiotium which is being recalled from customers by its wholesaler, Ocean Pharmaceutical (HK) Limited ("Ocean"). Ocean has set up a hotline (Tel.: 2508 1248) and a location for members of the public to return Cardiotium. The address of the location is as follows: Flat / Rm 801-802, 8/F Ginza Square, 565-567 Nathan Road, Kowloon.
- The Department of Health made a public announcement last week (Oct 7) about a product named Cardiotium which is being recalled from customers by its wholesaler, Ocean Pharmaceutical (HK) Limited. Members of the public may submit the recalled products to Department of Health's Chinese Medicine Division at 16/F, Two Landmark East, 100 How Ming Street, Kwun Tong, Kowloon during office hours for disposal.

- From December 3, all proprietary Chinese medicines must be registered before being imported and sold in Hong Kong. The registration number should be printed on the product’s label or packaging. The import, sale or possession of unregistered proprietary Chinese medicines is an offence.
